Counselling & Psychotherapy in Bristol & Bath
ACPS is an established network of experienced psychotherapists, counsellors and art therapists offering psychodynamic, psychoanalytic and integrative approaches.
We aim to offer a thoughtful and supportive first point of contact, helping people find a therapeutic approach that feels appropriate for them.
As a registered charity, ACPS aims to make counselling and psychotherapy available to people who might otherwise be unable to afford it. Where funding permits, we offer subsidised places through our Treatment Fund.
Open-ended and time-limited psychotherapy and counselling for adults, tailored to individual circumstances and needs.
Support for relationships, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection and recurring relational patterns.
Therapeutic work using creative and non-verbal approaches where this may help expression and reflection.
This meaningful experience offers a manageable, consistent space to build self-awareness and improve daily relationships.

The Process
Contact us confidentially by email or telephone to discuss your situation and whether our service may be suitable.
You will meet with a therapist to discuss what it is that you need and to make sure that therapy will be suitable for you, so that we can allocate you to the right therapist.
Therapy may be short-term or open-ended depending on what feels clinically appropriate and helpful.
Professional Referrals

We welcome referrals and collaborative working relationships with organisations seeking thoughtful and professionally grounded therapeutic support.
