ACPS Full membership – Further Information

Person specification

You are someone who is confident and established in your own work, and interested in thinking professionally with practitioners from other trainings and orientations. You would welcome working in a consensual organisation operating as far as possible through co-operative management.

You are interested and willing to work with a broad range of clients both short term and longer term. You wish to engage with an organisation with a ‘public face’ and established reputation, and one that offers a subsidised scheme for people on a low income or benefit, when funding allows.

Experience in clinical assessment and a capacity to contribute to the administration of the organisation is essential. Members are required to give some voluntary time to organisational maintenance and development, taking on regular responsibilities which are rotated periodically.

We would also like to hear of any particular areas of expertise, specialities and professional interests you may have.

Requirements of members

There is a membership fee to help cover administrative costs. Currently this is £30 per calendar month, payable by standing order. This sum is reviewed annually.
